American Flag & Banner Company, Inc. developed the Wind Dancer and patented the pivotal harness system that give this exciting pennant its dancing-like action. The Wind Dancer was born out of an idea based on the Wimple. A European pennant used to decorate flagpoles when the National flag of that country was not permitted to be flown. Here in the United States, every citizen owns the American Flag, and has a right to display it 365 days a year. In many coutries this was not the case, and in some countries, is still not allowed. The State, the Crown, the Dictator, etc. may own the right to fly and display the flag of that country or region. So what do you do with a flagpole and no flag to fly? You fly a Wimple, which is a long pennant of some color or family design. The problem with a pennant like this is that its design and attachment to the pole causes it to "dive" off of the wind that raised it into the air, much like the action of a kite diving down to the ground. We solved that problem with our special patented pivotal harness system. Every time the Wind Dancer flag tries to dive off of the wind current, it is drawn back into the air current by the means of the two harness cords attached to the harness plate. This create a dynamic acton of the Wind Dancer and animates the wind! When several of the Wind Dancers are flowing side by side it creates a lively, colorful, dancing like action that gets immediate attention. How to use the patented Wind Dancer Pennants

The Wind Dancer comes in two size pennants and is mounted on the super strong telescoping 21' Wonder Pole. The patented pivotal harness allows for a six directional movement which creates a dazzling display of color and movement.
